When Errol Flynn visited Mallorca
Transforming the allure of Beverly Hills Hotel into a fresh, fashionable Mallorcan residence was the goal of this project. Drawing inspiration from Errol Flynn’s Mallorca journey, where Hollywood royalty marveled at nature’s beauty, this venture aimed to captivate a modern royal family.
The three-story house was meticulously designed for a beloved family, their tastes as diverse as life itself. The interior design was a collaborative effort, respecting the client’s desires and dreams. The central challenge lay in crafting harmony among distinct tastes and preferences.
The ground floor opens with a spacious entrance merging dining and kitchen areas, featuring glass doors overlooking a terraced pool. Embracing the openness, a wallpaper by Eijffinger transformed the space into an indoor garden room, complemented by a Chinese Chippendale dining set. The chairs, upholstered in Designers Guild tweed, offered flexibility for various dining themes.
The staircase, a pivotal element, led to well-appointed bedrooms and a cozy TV corner. An expansive sofa, covered in luxurious Designers Guild velvet, invited family members to relax. This space flowed seamlessly with a unique sideboard and lounge chairs from HK Living, promoting comfort and harmony.
Bedroom designs remain confidential, safeguarding intimacy and trust. A master bedroom exudes timeless elegance, akin to classical hotels. The Provence-inspired guest room boasts a Charme de Provence bed and soothing tones, while the children’s room becomes a haven of imagination, adorned with Designers Guild fabrics.
Descending to the lower level, a playful Jonathan Adler console greets guests, setting a cheerful tone. The living room features a Gervasoni corner modular sofa in Designers Guild linen, paired with a rattan armchair and Pierre Frey Alexandrie wallpaper, resulting in an inviting ambiance.
A thoughtfully designed double bedroom further exemplifies the project’s challenges. Collaborating with the project manager, meticulous planning was executed to optimize space without disrupting the façade or flow. This modern princess-themed room balances neutral tones and tranquility.
Ultimately, this project encapsulates the essence of bconnected: understanding clients’ needs and researching styles to create happiness. As the project unfolds, it echoes the past while embracing the future, reminding us to cherish every moment.
