Es Trenc and Ses Salines: living in paradise

Today we discuss one of the most beautiful and well-known beaches on the island of Mallorca. Es Trenc. Renowned for its very long 2 km stretch of white sand and perfectly crystal-clear water. You might feel as if you have suddenly stepped into the Caribbean when you’re here, the picturesque scene is out of this world.

Located just off of the town of Ses Selines, a quaint coastal resort with traditional Mallorcan townhouses, with café’s on most corners.

On the shores of Colonia Sant Jordi, at the East end of Es Trenc beach is Salicornia restaurant. Living in the area of Ses Selines is a special experience, it’s very tranquil all year round. Particularly in the winter months when all the foreigners have gone home. There is still life however amongst locals and beauty to be seen all around, from morning or sunset walks on the beach to hikes through protected nature parks in the area.
